Tacos were amazing. Probably the best street tacos I’ve had so far. $5 for one taco seems a bit steep, but they definitely deliver!
Not sure why all the rave reviews. They aren’t cheap for a taco stand and the fillings were minimal. Only place I’ve ever been that didn’t crisp the quesabirria tacos and provided only one tortilla. See pic of “specialty” taco that’s supposed to have pineapple in it. Looks sad to me.
This was the biggest burrito I HAVE EVER SEEN. This place was recommended to me by a coworker and I was literally taken back when I opened the container. It was massive. Literally probably has its own gravitational pull it’s so huge. And it was delicious. Definitely 2 meals AT LEAST. When I visit Richmond again I will be back here.
I'm thoroughly unimpressed. After SPECIFICALLY asking if the $14 for the burrito (well what I would consider a HALF burrito)INCLUDED a protein (which in the ingredients on the menu does state one protein) and after double checking again... I got charged $2.50 more. Beef Birria!? Try disguised pot roast. Salty enough to strip any flavor from my palate. I know what real Birria is supposed to taste like.
I'm finding it incredibly difficult to believe $16.50 plus tax for 1 to go burrito in Richmond is or should even be a thing. Filthy kitchen and atmosphere...
Having worked in the restaurant industry for decades ( in both Southern and northern California) I would be embarrassed to call that my establishment.
I have no problem paying good money for an exceptional product. If you have any idea of what true Mexican, Guatemalan etc food should taste like (as I do having grown up and lived 25 miles from the Mexican border) you're going to be at best disappointed and at worst insulted. I will never return nor would I by any stretch of the imagination recommend it.
Great service! Chef hood and chef, AJ, thank you! Did an Uber eats order and was unable to place correctly on the app. Was called to have the order verified and they were very friendly and attentive to our specifications for gluten-free and vegan.
What stood out to me the most 🌟 was the fresh green salsa! One of the better birria tacos I've had -- the slam dunk was a slam dunk-- I could drink the dipping sauce/consume! Perfectly seasoned meats and fresh ingredients! I loved the variety of cheeses included on each dish, too. I did take out/ordered online and the guys working were super friendly. I think it would probably be best as fresh and crispy as possible. When I return, I'll eat there at the tables they have on their patio.
This was our second time here. The first time I got tacos and they were really uniquely crafted and flavorful! Mind you, they are some of the priciest in RVA at $5 per taco. This time we got burritos. $48 for two burritos and fries. With chips and drink it was $65 for two people…. The food was just okay. The fries were average, greasy. The burritos were alright, and contained a lot of rice that made it bland.
It’s a fair place for tacos! We ordered later at night towards closing so our food could have been better, but it might have been our mistake. Tacos were dryer than expected. Would go back 100% for the loaded fries, those were awesome!!
